Children in Safety
Practical one-hour webinars on preventing abuse and manipulation, held in Czech. No scaremongering: the focus is on relationships, boundaries and trust. As a benefit for employees who are parents, and as education for parents in general.
Children confide in those who are ready to listen
Most parents do not recognise the first signs of manipulation. Not because they do not care, but because abuse does not begin with violence. It begins subtly, with someone the family trusts, and often with the words “this stays between us”.
Informed Parent is the third pillar of our early prevention programme. Following on from the campaign for children (Nikomu to neříkej, “Don’t Tell Anyone”) and the programme for schools (Skutečný kamarád), it reaches the place where a child’s safety is most often decided: the home.
- Each webinar lasts about 60 minutes, plus 30 to 60 minutes for questions when broadcast live.
- The webinars are independent of one another: they can be taken individually or combined in any order.
- Primarily for parents of children in nursery and primary school, with a version for parents of teenagers.
- Each webinar comes with an e-book summarising the main points.
Children in Safety: two webinars for prevention that works
They can be combined into one longer session.
Safe Outside
What the real risks and risky environments look like, what to pay attention to, how the dynamics of predatory behaviour work, the issue of paedophilia, what to teach children and what, by contrast, to avoid.
Trust at Home
What to talk about with a child, and how, so that we do not pave the way for predators. Why children do not confide in us, how to recognise warning signs and what to avoid in parenting.
Follow-up webinars
They explore the core topics in greater depth.
Fear
How and why we feel afraid, fear as a physical experience, safety as the foundation of psychological resilience. How to support children when we ourselves are afraid.
Boundaries
Personal boundaries and manipulation. How to teach children to recognise manipulation, and where our parenting unwittingly works against this.
Teens
How to maintain, restore or improve your relationship with adolescents, and why teenagers need their parents just as much as toddlers do, only in a different way.
The Survivor Parent
For parents who have themselves been through abuse or another severe trauma and do not want their own past to weigh too heavily on their parenting.
Two formats for companies
Live webinar with discussion
The trainer runs the webinar online and answers employees’ questions. The company may continue to use the recording (without the discussion) internally, together with the e-book.
Pre-recorded webinar
We prepare and record a webinar with an unlimited licence for use within the company, for example in e-learning or on the intranet. E-book included.
The price covers the trainer’s fee and a contribution to the association’s work. Companies thus give their employees practical education while also supporting prevention for children who cannot pay for a webinar themselves. We will send the price list and the package of all six webinars on request.
Mgr. Renata Ježková
A therapist and educator with more than 25 years of practice, co-author of the books Klubovna Naděje, Když se naštve chameleon and Proč se bojí selátko (all in Czech). Member of the Association Council.
PhDr. Michala Bojarski, Ph.D.
A psychologist and lecturer at the Prague University of Economics and Business and at Metropolitan University Prague. She provides professional oversight of the association’s programmes for children and parents.
