Getting to schools
Travel, the speaker’s time and materials for pupils. Thanks to donations, we can also visit schools that have no budget for a talk.
Filming and editing
Equipment, editing, music and expert consultations with psychologists, so that sensitive topics do no harm to guests or viewers.
Developing the methodology
Creating prevention materials, testing them in schools and preparing a digital layer that will connect a child with crisis support.

Regular support on Herohero
Regular support is the most valuable to us, because it lets us plan a year ahead. On Herohero, your membership is not a conventional subscription but direct support for the project.
Prefer not to use Herohero? Simply set up a standing order in your online banking to account 16816821/2010. CZK 200 a month is an amount we can plan with.

Buy the book and pass it on
The book Klubovna Naděje (“The Hope Clubhouse”, in Czech) is a true story accompanied by expert advice. All proceeds from sales go towards school talks and our prevention work. Buy it for yourself, for a school or for the staffroom.
For companies and institutions
We are testing our methodology in practice through school talks and continuing to refine it; our team is in place and we have more than two hundred talks behind us. We are looking for partners who can help us bring the programme to many times more schools than we could ever visit ourselves.

The show is free for viewers, with no paywall. But someone has to pay for it, or it would never be made. Here are four recent interviews (in Czech) to show what it is about.

Before you send money
How much is it worth giving?
Every amount helps and we don’t consider any gift small. If you would like a guide: a one-off donation will cover materials or part of the travel to a school talk, while regular support of CZK 200 a month is an amount we can plan ahead with. Regularity matters more to us than size, because it is what allows us to promise schools dates for the next term.
How will I know what my donation was used for?
Write to us and we will tell you specifically. For larger donations, we agree in advance what they should go towards and then get back to you once it is done. Anyone who supports us has the right to know where the money went, and we take that seriously.
I want my donation to go towards something specific. Is that possible?
Yes. Most often this means sponsoring a talk for a particular school, or for a school in a region the donor chooses. Write to us and we will arrange it.
I need a donation receipt for tax purposes.
Write to info@skutecnykamarad.org, giving your name or company name, address and the date of payment. We will issue a receipt and send it by email. Under the conditions set out in the Czech Income Tax Act, donations from individuals and legal entities are deductible from the tax base.
As a company, we need a donation agreement and an invoice.
No problem: get in touch and we will prepare the documents the way your accountant needs them. For partnerships, we always agree the scope of the collaboration in writing.
How do I cancel regular support?
You can cancel your Herohero subscription at any time directly in your account, with no notice period and no explanation needed. You can cancel a standing order in your online banking. Nobody will ask you why and nobody will write to ask you to reconsider.
Can I help in kind instead of with money?
Yes. Expertise (psychology, law, video, graphic design, PR, fundraising), filming equipment, printing of materials and a venue for events are all useful. Write and tell us what you can do or what you have, and we will tell you straight away whether we can use it. If we can’t, we will tell you that too.
Can I donate without being named publicly?
We never publish donors’ names without their consent. If you would like to remain anonymous, just say so, or simply leave your name out of the payment reference.
Why do you raise money when the content is free?
That is exactly why. We keep the show, the talks and the materials free of any paywall, so that they are available even to those who have no means to pay. But someone has to pay for them, or they would never exist. That someone is our donors.
