#odvážný reaches 4.9 million views and almost 25,000 subscribers
According to YouTube Studio, as of 30 September 2026 the @odvazny channel has 24,757 subscribers, 4.9 million views and 42.1 million impressions. 82% of impressions come from YouTube recommendations, in other words from people who did not know us before. About the show

New statutes and an Association Council with partners and experts
The members’ meeting approved new statutes. The supreme body is the Association Council, whose members, alongside the Chair Tomáš Paprštein and the Vice-Chair Miroslava Pokorná, are Nadace Křižovatka, the Slovak Nadácia Križovatka, Martin Rosinek, Renata Ježková, the psychologist Michala Bojarski and Martin Kožíšek from the Safer Internet Centre of CZ.NIC. We have published an overview of the guests who have spoken on the show
The interviews were scattered across YouTube, and finding a particular topic meant scrolling through hundreds of videos. So we went through the archive, wrote descriptions of the guests and published them on a single page: the overview of guests and interviews, currently 120 entries. It is divided into personal stories, expert interviews, familiar faces and archive episodes, so you can search according to what you are dealing with. For each one you will find a short description, the date and a link to the full episode (in Czech). We are gradually adding older episodes too.

We are launching a new website and completing our transformation
The organisation that previously operated under the name Klubovna Naděje z.s. has been renamed Skutečný kamarád z.s. (“Real Friend”). The new website at skutecnykamarad.org brings all our activities together in one place: from the #odvážný (“#brave”) show and school talks to our early prevention project. The association’s company ID (IČO) stays the same, and its legal continuity is unaffected.

We are presenting the “Nikomu to neříkej” (“Don’t Tell Anyone”) ecosystem to partners
We have completed the materials for our early prevention project and are beginning to present it to schools, institutions and potential partners. The project is based on the 3T method, a “traffic light” of children’s boundaries and three pillars that build on one another. More about the project

The #odvážný show passes one hundred interviews
Since the show began, we have recorded more than a hundred interviews, and the channel has passed 3 million views. We are carrying on, with professional supervision and an emphasis on our guests’ safety. Where to listen to the show

We are touring schools and have given more than 200 talks
We take talks for pupils, seminars for teachers and evening sessions for parents all over the Czech Republic. We try to use donations to help schools that have no budget for a talk. Book a talk

We are raising the idea of a “Children’s Certificate” with politicians, and we run the “Children in Safety” webinar for parents.

What we are working on right now
We are not a large organisation, so we cannot afford to do everything at once. These are the four things we are prioritising at the moment.
Getting prevention into schools earlier
We are testing the methodology of the Nikomu to neříkej project directly in our school talks and adjusting it based on children’s reactions. The aim is a programme that a school prevention coordinator can deliver even without us being there.
Materials for parents
After a talk, parents most often ask what to do about the subject at home. We are preparing simple guides that advise parents on how to talk to their child without frightening them.
Keeping the show going
Every episode means preparation with the guest, filming, editing and a professional consultation. The show is free for viewers and has no paywall, which keeps it accessible but also makes it entirely dependent on donations.
Stable funding
We are looking for donors and partners with whom we can plan a year ahead. One-off support helps, but regular support decides how many talks we can promise schools for the next term.
